Keep our Beaches Clean

Being from Florida, I have always loved the beaches. It's what attracts vacationers to come and enjoy during the summer months and the snowbirds to join us for our year round heat and palm trees. But it's sad to see what has really grown as a place of gathering has also become a distinct place of pollution. Ocean pollution has increased in the past 10 years than in the last century. Did you know that 100 million marine animals die each year from plastic waste alone? 100,000 marine animals die from getting entangled in plastic yearly and thats just the animals we find! So my proposal is to help grow a brand that saves our beaches one beach clean up at a time. This starts with our first ever beach clean up! Right now Haute & Honey is selling our Venice Beach Bag as the first ever bag to give back! Every Venice Beach Bag we sell, 20% of that is going to our clean up! We want to use this donation money to buy brown paper bags for cigarette buds, gloves, buckets for larger items we find on the beach, a tent and table so that we have a meeting spot and a place to enjoy water and giveaways for some fun activities during our beach clean ups!
