Is red the new it color: 2024 Emmys style review

You didn't think I would let the Emmys pass without discussing the best dressed, right? The famous Emmys carpet had a common theme of black and red. Meghann Fahy (in Armani Privé), Suki Waterhouse (in Valentino Haute Couture), and Katherine Heigl (in Reem Acra) all stunned in gorgeous red dresses. Yet, Rachel Brosnahan veered away from the ruby red that most wore and shined in a wine-colored Versace corset dress. She was, without a doubt, the best dressed. I mean the corset top, gold details, and bottom pleating. I'm OBSESSED. Her stylist deserves a pay raise ASAP.

Speaking of going off theme, Simona Tabasco wore a floral Marni dress that looked almost cut and pasted together. It was undoubtedly the most unique outfit on the Emmys carpet. Extra points for creativity (even though she couldn't sit).

There's no way I can end this blog post without mentioning Taraji P. Henson in a purple Versace dress, paying homage to her role in the new Color Purple movie, sporting a chest cutout and high slit. Versace always has gorgeously detailed gowns, and this one was no exception. 10/10!!!

Now, you may not be going to the Emmys, but whenever you want to feel red-carpet-ready, come get styled by us at Haute and Honey. We will make sure you leave feeling like Rachel Brosnahan. Until next time, Haute babes.
