A Day in the Life as a Small Business Owner

Haily Maki, the owner of Haute & Honey, is a hard-working entrepreneur and life is busy for her right now! Here is an insight into what her day looks like: 

7 a.m. Haily makes her bed, reads a couple of different mantras, journals, and does her daily yoga session to get her day started on the right foot. Implementing these habits helps her get a running start to her day.  

7:30 a.m.-8 a.m. Next on the agenda, Haily makes breakfast for her and her husband while watching Good Morning America. A usual breakfast of hers either consists of avocado toast, oatmeal, or a bowl of fresh fruit. 

8 a.m-12 p.m. During this time, Haily goes into her home office to get started on emails, go over any last-minute shipping or exchanges. She also does research for new collections, social media marketing, and organizing her home office.  

12 p.m.-1 p.m. For lunch, Haily usually eats a turkey burger, rice, and steamed vegetables all with her homemade aioli sauce.  

1 p.m-evening For the rest of Haily’s day, she takes this time to run errands, call clients or vendors, and work on her other two businesses.   

Staying organized and efficient is a key role into Haily’s success.
